Learn more about the founder and her story

About Michelle Hall-Boggan, MSW, LCSW

In 2020 Michelle emerged herself back into her holistic healing practices that she found to be so empowering during her young adult life. This included being trained in Integrative Yoga Nidra mindfulness practices and she began to offer weekly meditation sessions that proved to be transformative.

In February 2021, Michelle founded Keep Evolving Wellness Center with a heartfelt mission: to make emotional wellness accessible to black women and to provide the tools and resources needed to thrive. Inspired by her own journey and the collective challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Michelle’s offerings expanded to supporting community events with simple, delicious, and nutritious meal ideas to boost immunity, promote health, and release stress.

Author of a transformative book

Her passion for helping others led her to write the transformative book, Dimensions of Evolving: The Healing Journey, offering practical strategies to improve wellness across eight key dimensions of wellness. At Keep Evolving Wellness Center, the focus is on empowering people to live holistically healthy lives, reduce stress, heal from trauma, enhance their quality of life, and discover or rediscover joy. Michelle’s work reflects her belief that with the right support and guidance, everyone has the ability to evolve, heal, and live life abundantly.

A deep calling to help others

From a young age, Michelle felt a deep calling to help others navigate feelings of being stuck and hopeless due to life’s challenges. Having personally witnessed how stress can disrupt the mind, body, and spirit, Michelle became passionate about empowering people to live their best lives. After earning a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Florida A&M University, she dedicated over 20 years to social work, supporting vulnerable adults and children with various abilities and mental health concerns.

In 2016, as a working adult learner, Michelle returned to school and earned her Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University in 2019, fulfilling her dream of practicing therapy.

Today, Michelle provides therapy with expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and certifications in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as racial trauma therapy. Combining her professional experience, advanced education, and certifications in holistic wellness, she works with individuals and organizations to develop customized strategies that promote healing, balance, and synergy in both personal and workplace environments.
